Job Summary
Generate new product opportunities by translating consumer insights and emerging trends into engaging toys through 2D sketching and 3D modeling. Execute fashion, accessory, and playset designs while building consensus across the design process. Partner with Development, Engineering, and Packaging teams to ensure product integrity and marketing objectives, including daily communication with Asia partners. Present concepts to design and marketing management to drive innovation for Barbie's legacy.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in Fashion Design, Toy Design or equivalent
- 1-3 Years Professional Experience
- Must be proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator and 2D computer programs
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Adobe Creative Suite proficiency
- Knowledge of 3D CAD (Alias, Rhino 3D is a plus)
- Knowledge of material and manufacturing process
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Ability to project manage
- Portfolio demonstrating strong design excellence and superior problem solving

- Ideal candidate will exhibit interest and knowledge of the current fashion trends as well as awareness of the current fashion doll category and the competitive landscape
