Job Summary
Product Designer at 7shifts shaping restaurant operations through end-to-end design—from research with operators to prototyping, testing, and shipping in production. Own the design process with cross-functional partners (Product and Engineers), use AI tools (Claude) to move faster, iterate based on customer feedback, and build depth in your product area. The role emphasizes hands-on design work, rapid iteration, and delivering experiences that reduce scheduling and payroll frictions for restaurants. You’ll contribute to design reviews, articulate design decisions, and craft high-fidelity prototypes in Figma, while leveraging AI to clarify problems, surface risks, and experiment with flows before implementation. Portfolio should showcase problem spaces, thinking process, iterative outcomes, and the impact of your design work. Bonus points for experience with Agile practices or prior restaurant-tech exposure.
