Job Summary
Product Design Manager for Capital One's Premium Design team, focused on driving end-to-end design for high-spender experiences, card experiences, and lifestyle benefits. Role emphasizes leadership of design projects, mentoring junior designers, cross-functional collaboration with product, tech, and business partners, and applying human-centered, data-informed design to create impactful customer experiences. Key competencies include product design across interaction, visual, and service design; use of design systems and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma); stakeholder management; and collaboration to shape product strategy and ensure business value.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in a Product Design role
- At least 5 years of experience in design and prototyping tools such as Figma
- Experience working with and contributing to an established design system
- Experience collaborating with product, tech and business partners
- Experience leading design projects or teams
- Experience working in heavily regulated, data heavy problem spaces
