Own the design of core product surfaces across Freed's AI-powered clinical documentation products, shaping workflows that are high-stakes and deeply personal to clinicians. This hands-on role involves designing, prototyping, and iterating directly (not managing other designers), with a focus on turning complex clinical workflows into simple, intuitive experiences. You’ll articulate problem framing, trade-offs, and feedback requests, and partner closely with PMs and engineers to navigate constraints and deliver elegant solutions. Bring 6+ years of product design experience, a bias toward simplicity, and a track record of influencing design decisions in AI-enabled environments. Nice-to-haves include experience designing for healthcare/clinical workflows and AI-assisted coding workflows. The team operates in a hybrid model with an office in San Francisco (3 days in person) and a remote option within the United States.
