Job Summary
Conduct general engineering product setup, design, and management for new electro-mechanical components and assemblies. Create and update engineering BOMs and documentation while managing multiple activities across product engineering, product management, and operational support. Provide testing support and oversight within the Product Evaluation Lab, collaborating closely with Field Application Engineering. Maintain visibility to export controlled documents and information under International Traffic in Arms Regulations. Requires 7+ years in electro-mechanical product design in connectors, CREO Parametric modeling, and ASME Y14.5 GD&T. This role supports ITT's Flow, Motion, and Connect & Control Technologies segments with periodic travel up to 20%.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 7+ years' experience in Electro-Mechanical product design in connectors
- CREO Parametric 3D Modeling/Documentation experience
- ASME Y14.5 Dimensioning and Tolerancing, including GD&T
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
- Highly self-motivated and a willingness to make a difference
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with different departments
- Working knowledge of MS Office products such as Excel, Word etc...
- The ability to travel periodically (up to 20%)

Desired Qualifications
- Experience in electrical connectors and the Aerospace & Defense industry
- Experience in Filters, Fiber Optics, Micro-miniature and/or High-Speed Data transfer
- Knowledge in the use of high-performance thermoplastics, aluminums and copper alloys and the manufacturing requirements needed to utilize them
- Knowledge in MIL-DTL, Mil-STD and similar industry specifications and requirements
- Experience in Design for Six Sigma (DFSS), Design for Manufacturability (dfM), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Design of Experiments (DOE), and Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) principles
