Job Summary
Provide Engineering support to Sales for new projects by coordinating with the sales team to meet potential customers, review 3D and 2D part files, and manage new tooling programs including mold layout and detail design. Assist Production on existing tooling problems by reviewing mold issues with staff to resolve failures, working with local repair shops for document support, and maintaining preventative schedules. Help improve production efficiency by providing fixture or automation solutions for ongoing needs. Complete projects on time and to specification while collaborating independently with others.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, technical, and effective communication skills
- Proficient with Soildworks software, MS Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
- The ability to work independently and to collaborate with others
- The ability to complete projects on time and to specification
- Good oral & written communication skills to explain complex processes to workers and managers
