Job Summary
Product/Design Engineer responsible for design, manufacture, and improvement of products, development of new products, and regulatory activities; perform field visits to address product issues, support projects from concept to launch, and collaborate with Manufacturing, Purchasing, Sales, and Quality teams. Will create BOMs, drawings, and documentation; verify products prior to manufacturing release; apply engineering principles to fluid handling devices, valves, pressure vessels, and related subsystems; maintain technical data and support cost-out initiatives while aligning with ISO quality standards; requires BS in Mechanical Engineering, CAD proficiency, and ability to apply engineering calculations and development tools; occasional travel to customer sites or shop areas.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering
- Proficient with 2D and 3D CAD systems
- Able to read, write, and follow verbal instructions in Standard English
- Proficient in MS Office and basic analytical techniques
- Familiarity with engineering calculations and product development tools (FMEA, DOE, tolerances, Design for Six Sigma, Root Cause Corrective Action)
- Understanding of ASME code (desired)
