Job Summary
Collaborate with industrial designers and marketing teams to align product design with brand identity while optimizing ergonomics, usability, and manufacturability. Define and document specifications including weight, dimensions, materials, and tolerances, maintaining databases and version control. Conduct physical tests for weight, dimensions, drop resistance, compression, and environmental durability, then analyze results to recommend design changes and ensure compliance with industry standards such as ASTM and ISO. Work with sourcing, packaging, and quality assurance teams to support supplier qualification and production ramp-up, while participating in design reviews and risk assessments. Requires a Bachelor's in mechanical engineering or industrial design with 1-2 years in CPG product development.
Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's in mechanical engineering, Industrial Design, or related field
- Measurement tools, testing rigs
- Ability to interpret test data and optimize product performance
- Strong written and verbal skills for documentation and team collaboration
