Job Summary
Create CAD models and drawings using NX and GTCC systems, defining geometric dimensioning and tolerancing for proper clearances and fits. Ensure design integrity by driving improvements in first-time yield and communicating progress, risks, and release dates to stakeholders. Provide design support to cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to manufacturing, suppliers, or field performance. Manage the full technical lifecycle from 3D modeling to inspection and assembly while mentoring team members. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and knowledge of ASME Y14.5M standards. No visa or relocation assistance provided.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (Industrial Engineering, Industrial Design, Mechatronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering)
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerance (ASME Y14.5M, or applicable) relative to the function
- Effective written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish
- Previous working experience with Design systems and sourcing, manufacturing shops point of contact
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Experience driving Drawing creation & 3D modeling in NX Siemens
- Knowledge of Product Definition Standard Procedures & Bill of Materials
