Job Summary
Create CAD models and drawings using NX and GTCC systems, defining geometric dimensioning and tolerancing to ensure proper clearances and manufacturing capabilities. Manage the full technical lifecycle from 3D modeling to inspection support, while driving improvements in first-time yield and resolving design, performance, or field issues. Communicate progress, risks, and release dates to stakeholders and Tech Leads, providing design support to cross-functional teams. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and knowledge of ASME Y14.5M standards. This role is full-time within the Steam Turbine and Generator team, with no visa or relocation assistance provided.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (Industrial Engineering, Industrial Design, Mechatronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering)
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerance (ASME Y14.5M, or applicable) relative to the function
- Effective written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish

- Previous working experience with Design systems and sourcing, manufacturing shops point of contact
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Experience driving Drawing creation & 3D modeling in NX Siemens
- Knowledge of Product Definition Standard Procedures & Bill of Materials
