Product Cost Analyst

Job Summary
Conduct new product introductions and annual product line costing reviews, including cost rollups, analysis, and presentations. Partner with merchandising, product engineering, manufacturing, procurement, finance, and IT teams to support SAP master data maintenance and drive cost-saving initiatives across products and processes. Prepare ad hoc reports and analysis as needed for projects. Requires minimum two years in product development, cost accounting, or equivalent experience in a production environment, preferably furniture, with intermediate Microsoft Excel skills. Position involves prolonged sitting, repetitive computer usage, and working in noisy environments with occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years in product development/engineering, cost accounting or equivalent experience working in a production environment, preferably furniture
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent organizational, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills
- High level of attention to details
- Customer first (external and internal) mentality
- Must be able to work in noisy environments
- Must be able to lift 10 lbs.
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
