Job Summary
Senior Associate, Product Controller position responsible for supporting month-end close and financial statement reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow), consolidating and analyzing daily/monthly/year-to-date results with variance analysis, preparing balance sheet substantiation and reconciliations, delivering analytical reporting to finance leadership, and collaborating across finance, operations, and technology to design robust controls and support new initiatives. Role involves coordinating with front- and back-office teams, migrating workflows into JPMorgan Chase infrastructure, handling ad-hoc analyses in a fast-paced environment, and working in-office five days a week at the Houston, TX site.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years in Product Control, Financial Control, or Accounting
- Demonstrated experience with P&L reporting and month-end close processes
- ERP experience (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and strong general ledger familiarity
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a controls-first mindset with a focus on process improvement
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to build strong working relationships
- Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and deliver under tight deadlines
- Advanced Excel skills (data analysis, reconciliations, modeling)
- Team-oriented, collaborative approach
