Job Summary
Guide clients through product selection, technical considerations, and order execution by engaging with confidence, listening actively, and preparing accurate quotes and estimates. Maintain deep expertise in assigned lighting and fireplace categories, interpreting drawings and explaining specifications clearly while staying current on vendor updates. Process orders with precision, review vendor requirements to prevent delays, and coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and installation partners. Troubleshoot product questions and order discrepancies, communicate transparently with clients on timelines and changes, and partner closely with Design Center leadership and Outside Sales for smooth handoffs. Maintain showroom displays and support inventory checks as needed. Full-time role with overtime as business dictates.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a customer facing sales or consulting role within building materials, home products, or a related industry
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to interpret product specifications and documentation
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, consultative showroom environment
- Willingness to deepen expertise in assigned categories and support others as needed
- Confident, knowledgeable, and approachable
- Detail oriented with strong follow-through
- Collaborative and team first mindset
- Client focused with a high bar for experience and execution
