Product Compliance Engineer

Job Summary
Review and assess product designs for compliance with UL, CSA, FM, ATEX, IEC, NEC standards particularly in industrial and hazardous locations. Responsibilities include coordinating with labs for certification, preparing assessment reports, addressing non-compliance issues, and guiding both internal and external customers on certification processes. Participation in engineering changes, maintaining certification documentation, and monitoring regulation changes is also required. Seeking candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering fields and at least 7 years of experience in certification, particularly with hazardous location standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics/Mechatronics/Mechanical
- 7+ years in certification domain
- Working experience of Ordinary location and Hazardous location standards
- Experience working with certification agencies like UL, CSA, Intertek, TUV etc.
- Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision
- Good Knowledge of Solenoid Valves, Relief valves, Pneumatic Valves, Shutoff Valve.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of ISO/IEC 17025 laboratory management system
- Working knowledge of EMI/EMC testing and requirements
- Working knowledge of LVD testing and requirements
- Hands on experience of product safety testing on own
- Working knowledge of CE marking
- UKCA marking knowledge would be an added advantage
