Job Summary
Prepare, submit and track form, rate and rule filings across multiple jurisdictions for Coverys insurance products. Serve as the primary liaison with state departments of insurance, responding to inquiries, addressing objections, and coordinating amendments. Maintain detailed records of filing activity and provide reporting on filing timelines and outcomes to support compliance tracking, risk management, and business planning. Collaborate with actuaries, legal, and product management to ensure filings align with business objectives and customer needs. Provide proactive guidance on filing requirements and monitor state bulletins for changes impacting filings. Travel up to 10% as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5+ years of insurance industry knowledge or equivalent experience
- Proficient knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with SERFF (System for Electronic Rates & Forms Filing)
- Excellent analytical and problem resolution skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail, procedures, deadlines, and quality results
- Experience with Division of Insurance or other state regulatory agencies, regulatory environment
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 10% of the year
