Job Summary
Product Classification Engineer responsible for export control classification (ECCN/ECN) and customs/tariff coding (HTS/HS) for ABB products, software, and technologies throughout the new product introduction cycle. Will manage and update product master data (descriptions, entries) and support relevant teams (Procurement, Order Handling, R&D, Customs, Sales) with classification inquiries, while monitoring regulatory changes in the product classification space. Role requires strong MS Office and SAP skills, careful data management, and the ability to communicate in Italian and English. Work model is Hybrid with base in Frosinone, Italy, within ABB Smart Power, focusing on energy-distribution solutions and compliance-driven processes.
Required Qualifications
- Good knowledge of customs and export control regulations
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP
- Strong organizational, precise and diligent data management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Fluency in Italian and English
