Job Summary

Coordinate engineering releasing activities between design areas and procurement/scheduling with effective and timely implementation. Create, maintain, and communicate accurate change management data at local and corporate levels through data entry in multiple management information systems. Analyze engineering releases, changes, and drawing notices to create change management requirements and establish product structures based on engineering design. Maintain close team relationships with releasing analysts, manufacturing operations, process planning, engineering design, and material planning. This role supports the global team at Caterpillar Inc., where you help build stronger, more sustainable communities through precise product change control.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field, or currently enrolled in the final semester
  • Intermediate English
  • SAP system knowledge
  • Excel intermediate level
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail
  • Understanding of the necessity and value of accuracy
  • Ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision
  • Accurately gauges the impact and cost of errors, omissions, and oversights
  • Utilizes specific approaches and tools for checking and cross-checking outputs

  • Learns from mistakes and applies lessons learned
  • Develops and uses checklists to ensure that information goes out error-free
