Job Summary

Coordinate engineering releasing activities between design areas and procurement/scheduling through accurate data entry in multiple management information systems. Analyze engineering releases, drawing notices, and product structures to create change management requirements while maintaining close relationships with releasing analysts, manufacturing operations, and supply chain teams. Apply structured verification tools to identify discrepancies in Bills of Materials and technical data early, ensuring error-free engineering changes that account for cost, production, and supplier impacts. Update critical data in manufacturing systems including revision levels, EAU, and BOM changes to manage MRP cycles and production schedules.

Required Qualifications

  • Completed degree or undergraduate degree in Engineering or related field
  • Intermediate conversational English
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail
  • Strong knowledge of the cost, production, and supplier impact of errors in Bills of Materials (BOMs), revisions, and engineering documents
  • Ability to apply structured verification tools (checklists, cross-checks, document comparisons) to ensure error-free engineering changes
  • Capability to identify discrepancies in technical data early and take corrective action before release
  • Background in handling Bills of Materials (BOM)
  • Cross-Team Integration
  • Strength in building effective relationships with key areas such as Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality, Production Control, and Supply Chain
  • Knowledge to coordinate actions across departments to ensure timely execution of engineering changes (quotes, BOM updates, PPAP, effective dates)
  • Ability to communicate proactively and seek support when alignment or escalation between teams is required
  • At least 1 year of exposure to supply chain processes
  • Manufacturing Requirements Planning (MRP) & Manufacturing Application Systems
  • Applied understanding of how engineering changes affect MRP cycles, material availability, revisions, lead times, and supplier shipments
  • Ability to accurately enter and update critical data in manufacturing systems (revision levels, EAU, disposition, effectivity, BOM changes)
  • Capability to interpret system outputs and anticipate impacts on production schedules, inventory levels, and procurement activities
  • Intermediate proficiency in SAP system
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office
