Product Certification Specialist - Audio Products (m/f/div.)

Job Summary
Lead regulatory product certification across safety, EMC, RF/wireless for new products; create full certification plans, define requirements, and consult engineering teams to ensure compliance from development start. Act as primary interface with external labs/agencies, validate proposals, and ensure on-time completion for milestones in 2026. Manage lifecycle changes, renew wireless approvals, coordinate country-specific GTM certification changes, and prepare for rebranding certification updates. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, project teams, certification agencies, and laboratories; maintain documentation in SAP; proactively follow up with local teams in high-risk countries. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field and 3+ years of relevant experience. Strong understanding of global regulatory frameworks and the ability to interpret test reports and proposals, with experience in DoC, test plans, and technical files; proficient in SAP; strong PM and coordination skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related field
- 3+ years experience in product certification, regulatory compliance, or type approval (Safety, EMC, RF/Wireless)
- Experience working with certification bodies (TÜV, UL, Intertek, etc.)
- Strong understanding of global regulatory frameworks: CE/RED, EMC, Safety (EN/IEC standards)
- Wireless regulatory requirements (FCC, IC, MIC, KC, SRRC, etc.)
- Country-specific type approvals
- Ability to interpret test reports, standards, and technical proposals.
- Experience with documentation for certifications (DoC, test plans, technical files)
- Experience with IT tools (e.g. SAP)
- Strong project management and coordination skills
