Job Summary
Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify new product opportunities and unmet clinical needs in Saudi Arabia. Lead product development initiatives by coordinating with R&D and Regulatory Affairs teams, translating insights into actionable portfolio expansion plans. Identify and onboard new suppliers and manufacturing partners while building relationships with international manufacturers, principals, and government authorities. Collaborate with internal teams including Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Finance for successful product launches and tender submissions. Monitor product and business development KPIs, opportunity pipelines, and performance metrics. Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to leverage established relationships with NUPCO and distributors for long-term contracts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in product development, market insights, or business development within the medical devices industry
- Proven experience in product strategy, supplier management, and R&D coordination
- Strong understanding of the Saudi healthcare market, medical device regulations, and procurement processes including NUPCO
- Demonstrated ability to assess market opportunities and convert insights into viable products
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
