Job Summary

Product Associate for Brokerage at J.P. Morgan Personal Investing leads end-to-end product life cycle, acting as the voice of the customer to develop profitable investment products, guiding launches, gathering feedback, and ensuring top-tier client experiences. The role collaborates with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Compliance, Operations, Investments) to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable products. Responsibilities include defining product strategy, conducting discovery and market research, managing backlog and roadmap, tracking key metrics, overseeing development, testing, release management, and participating in agile ceremonies. Requires experience in product management within financial services or technology, familiarity with wealth management products, brokerage/mutual funds lifecycle, strong data analytics, cross-team collaboration, and ability to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders. Preferred candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, finance, or related quantitative field and have a track record of delivering products based on first-principles design with data-driven customer feedback.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, finance or highly qualitative degree
  • Experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area within financial services or technology
  • Proven track record of successfully building wealth management products, familiarity with brokerage and/or mutual funds end-to-end lifecycle
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Experience working in the delivery of large, complex digital product initiatives with cross-team dependencies
  • Experience with software delivery best practices, working with technical product requirements and mapping of dependencies, design of minimum viable products, working with multi-country requirements
  • Ability to explain technical issues in a clear way to the business and other stakeholders
  • Ability to analyse and incorporate user needs, business needs, and technical constraints/opportunities into the product development process
  • Be the glue among departments and create shared understanding by translating ideas and concepts into technical or layman’s terms
