Job Summary
Product Analyst in a hybrid NYC/remote role within Broadridge's Product Management team. You will define business requirements, develop test scenarios, and document procedures for technology solutions; interview customer users and internal stakeholders to identify business problems and requirements; analyze conflicting requirements, prioritize them, and translate them into business-oriented software requirements; liaise with development teams to set priorities and monitor SDLC progress from start to finish; create and present results to customers and the development team; conduct training sessions; oversee production installations and post-implementation usage; lead focus groups, information sessions, and larger projects; and contribute to ongoing quality through UAT and feedback. Qualifications include 5+ years in financial/brokerage roles in Agile, experience with cash management/money movement, SDLC and project methodologies (Waterfall/Agile), strong communication and training skills, SQL knowledge, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Salary range: $135,000-$145,000; benefits information provided; US-based role with hybrid NYC/remote options.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience in the financial/brokerage industry with similar role in an agile environment
- Experience with Cash Management / Money Movement domain supporting Wires, Checks and ACH processing
- Experience executing the development process with technical teams, internal partners and external vendors including writing business requirements / use cases / user stories, conducting user acceptance testing and communicating project status to project team
- Expertise in following a SDLC process and a continuous improvement advocate during a Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) as well as project methodologies, including waterfall and Agile
- Testing skills including creating business test cases and building test plans
- Seasoned at daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions, backlog prioritization, user story preparation and demos
- Interpersonal skills including building consensus, negotiation and facilitation
- Strong communication skills such as client interviewing, business writing, developing and delivering presentations
- Training skills: development and delivery of training
- Design Skills, data modeling, process modeling, knowledge of wireframes and prototyping
- Proficiency in MS Office suite of applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
- Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, flowchart applications
- Knowledge of SQL would be beneficial
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., business, computer science, engineering)
- Training in system integration life cycle methodologies
