Job Summary
Produce and execute original segments for TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle, focusing on pop culture, celebrity news, human-interest, and lifestyle content. Manage all aspects of segments—from researching and composing packets, conducting pre-interviews, writing questions, coordinating props, and briefing co-hosts, to producing both live and taped segments, coordinating shoot logistics, and overseeing edit sessions. Brainstorm fresh content, identify and book guests, develop franchises, and collaborate with the Standards & Legal team to ensure editorial standards. Requires 5+ years of editorial production experience at the network level, a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, strong knowledge of pop culture/current events, and willingness to work overtime, nights, holidays, weekends, and NYC-based. Hybrid schedule with minimum four days in the office; salary range $93,000-$110,000. Additional requirements include submitting resume/CV through NBCUniversal careers and potential in-person interviews.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of editorial production experience at the network level
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of pop culture and current events
- Must be willing to work overtime, nights, holidays, and weekends, often with short notice
- Must be willing/able to work in NYC
- Knowledge of NBC News policies, guidelines, and practices
