Job Summary
Remote Employee Benefits Producer to advise mid-market and large-market business clients on benefits, HR challenges, and risk management; build a profitable book of business, generate new opportunities through networking, referrals, and prospecting; collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service and cross-sell opportunities; preferred candidates reside in the Northeast but nationwide hiring is supported.
Required Qualifications
- Active Life & Health insurance license required.
- 3-5 years of experience in employee benefits sales, insurance sales, business development, or a related field preferred; strong candidates with transferable sales experience will be considered.
- Experience working with employee benefits products, group health plans, and employer-sponsored benefit programs preferred.
- Experience with BenefitPoint or similar agency management systems preferred.
- Strong business development, relationship-building, and consultative selling skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
