Job Summary
Producer for experiential events, based in Detroit with hybrid work and travel. Collaborates across internal teams to translate client objectives into actionable production plans, manages budgets and timelines, coordinates venue logistics, staffing, and vendor coordination, oversees on-site production and post-event wrap-ups, and maintains strong client and stakeholder communications. Requires 6+ years of live event production experience, AV/lighting/staging familiarity, ability to manage multiple projects, willingness to work weekends/evenings, and up to 30% travel; must be local to Detroit and office-present 3–5 days/week.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional experience in live event production (may be considered in lieu of a college degree)
- A passion for Production and delivering impactful experiences
- Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and/or project elements
- Familiarity in working in event venues, with production companies, event staffing, unions, catering, etc.
- Experience with AV, lighting, staging, etc. Understanding of Video/Streaming Technology is a plus
- Experience as a stage manager and/or show caller is a plus
- Willingness to execute projects on weekends and evenings, when required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to support a team effort
- Eagerness to learn, grow, and embrace new challenges
- Working knowledge of Microsoft products like Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required
- Travel Requirement: Up to 30% annually with the ability to travel to event sites for extended periods of time
- Must be local to the Detroit area and present in the Detroit office three to five days a week
