Job Summary
The Producer, Originals leads the end-to-end production of CNBC Explains and Founder Effect content in the Middle East, coordinating pitching, scripting, directing shoots, editing and repurposing for broadcast and social. Collaborates with CNBC’s broadcast and digital teams, and with colleagues in London and Singapore, to maintain quality and consistency across global franchises while growing regional output. Responsibilities include idea generation, story development with a focus on business, technology and entrepreneurship, scripting and editing videos, directing shoots, managing post-production workflows in Adobe Premiere, ensuring factual accuracy and editorial standards, delivering on deadlines, adapting content for digital, broadcast and social platforms, tracking performance and applying audience insights, and coordinating with international teams and the broader newsroom.
Required Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience in video production
- Strong track record of producing, scripting and editing video content end-to-end
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere (or equivalent)
- Ability to translate complex topics into clear, engaging narratives
- Excellent writing skills for scripts, headlines and editorial copy
- Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong editorial judgment and attention to detail
- Ability to operate independently while collaborating across international teams
- Strong communication and organizational skills
