Job Summary
Technical specialist for produced water treatment across regional P&L projects and tenders; provide specialist input to technology development according to priorities; help develop product lines with the APT Manager; develop training material for regional engineers; support BD in client meetings; devise competitive technical tender offers with fit-for-purpose technology while managing liability; deliver time-efficient, high-quality responses to clients and project teams; conduct feasibility/conceptual/process studies for the assigned discipline; identify process/discrepancy improvements; maintain strong knowledge of competitor technology and industry standards; lead and coordinate application engineers in delivering unique selling propositions, ensure cost-focused tender development, and manage client communications and tender negotiations; capture lessons learned post-tender and hand over to execution teams; demonstrate leadership, collaboration, and proactive problem-solving to drive winning tenders.
Required Qualifications
- Essential: Chemical Engineering – Masters Degree
- 10 years+ in Chemical Engineering / Process Engineering
- Autonomy
- Experience in Separation AND Produced Water Projects for Middle East
- Process Simulation tools such as HYSYS, UNSIM, Flaresim
- Troubleshooting experience
- HAZOP and SIL studies participation and close outs
- Deep knowledge of technology
- Professional writing skills in English
- Desirable: Languages - Multilingual (English and Arabic, Spanish, Mandarin, French, Russian, Portuguese, etc)
- Deep knowledge of commercial aspects, market and competitors
