Produce Team Leader Assistant

Produce Team Leader Assistant provides leadership in the Produce Department by directing and managing team members, ordering raw materials and supplies, and implementing merchandising initiatives to drive profitable growth and meet customer requirements. The role supports the Produce Team Leader, supervises staff, oversees training, handles department orders and inventory, monitors ordering and receiving with automated systems, adheres to the Collective Bargaining Agreement, and assists in developing merchandising plans to maximize store profits. Requires 1–3 years of experience in grocery/produce operations or related field, strong leadership and customer-service skills, and ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays; Education: high school diploma or equivalent; lifting up to 50 pounds; familiarity with P&L statements and OSHA requirements.
