Job Summary
Produce Supervisor role overseeing customer service and operations in the Produce department. Responsible for stocking, display, stock levels, price integrity, inventory, health and safety compliance, and supervising Produce/Utility Clerks. Includes scheduling, training, coaching, performance management, assisting with budgets and department plans, and coordinating with the Produce Manager. Requires Grade 12 education or equivalent, at least 6 months retail/produce experience, basic receiving/merchandising skills, and proficiency with Word/Excel/Outlook; related post-secondary education and supervisory experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12 education or acceptable combination of education and experience
- Six (6) months of produce or equivalent retail experience, with strong product knowledge
- Basic receiving, ordering and merchandising skills
- Basic Word, Excel and Outlook
- Related post-secondary education
- Experience in supervising others, planning and organizing events, projects or programs
- Kronos knowledge
