Job Summary
Produce Stocker maintains product levels and quality in the produce and floral departments, ensuring fresh fruits and vegetables are displayed per Company standards and food-safety practices. Responsibilities include stocking and rotating products, operating pallet jack to unload/load, inspecting product quality, assisting customers with price checks, promoting sales through suggestive selling, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment in a retail store. Requires ability to operate pallet jack, handle sharp items safely, and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Food Handler certification required
- Must be 18 years of age to operate and clean motorized equipment
- Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business in accordance with the BGC Business Driver Policy
- Ability to operate manual or electric pallet jack
- Ability to safely operate and maintain department equipment
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
