Produce Sales Associate

Produce Sales Associate responsibilities include keeping the produce department stocked and appealing, greeting customers, assisting with special requests (e.g., fruit baskets), unpacking and trimming produce, rotating stock for freshness, ensuring proper pricing and signage, maintaining salad bar and cut fruit/vegetables, assisting in displays, completing product logs, handling spoiled/damaged items per policy, sanitation in the department following schedules and OSHA guidelines, disposing of trash properly, minimizing shrink, assisting with receiving/delivery as trained, using PPE provided by the company, and cooperating with co-workers and supervisors to ensure department and store operations run smoothly. Training is provided. No supervisory responsibilities at this time.
