Produce Quality Supervisor

Job Summary
Inspect incoming produce and identify pallets requiring immediate attention, ensuring quality issues are reported and blocked in the system until resolved. Maintain detailed inspection records for arrivals, outbound orders, claims, and aged inventory, guaranteeing growers receive reports within 24 hours. Coordinate repacking and reprocessing activities with supply chain teams while tracking all quality-related claims and documentation. Prepare operational reports covering quality-on-arrival performance, claims summaries, and inventory ageing. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, three years of produce industry experience, and bilingual English/Spanish proficiency. Based in the New Jersey, Philadelphia, or Delaware area, candidates must hold a valid driver's license and be willing to travel between sites and work in cold storage environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience within the produce/fresh fruit industry
- Open for people based in New Jersey, Philadelphia and Delaware area
- Inspection of the fruit is done in our Warehouse Coldrooms
- Fresh fruit handling and packing operations
- Quality inspections
- Inventory control processes
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel between sites when required
- Ability to work in cold storage environments
- Strong understanding of produce quality standards and customer specifications
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook)
- Experience analyzing data and preparing reports
- ERP or inventory management system experience
- Bilingual English & Spanish
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong planning, organisational and time-management abilities
- Detail-oriented with a results-driven mindset
- Ability to manage records and track open issues effectively
- Experience leading and training teams
- Strong decision-making skills in fast-paced environments
