Job Summary
Follow weekly sales programs to maximize volume and achieve budgeted gross profit figures. Carry out produce record preparation, unload trucks, maintain backroom storage, and ensure coolers and freezers meet standards. Account for inventory control, reinforce sanitation and food safety practices, and assist guests while maintaining relations. Consult with the Store Manager on meat operations, advanced planning, and scheduling to ensure objectives are met. Schedule the department, ensure compliance with company standards via ALI audits, and hold direct reports accountable to productivity goals. Teach and train staff, develop talent plans for high-potential individuals, and provide ongoing performance feedback.
Required Qualifications

- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and 25 lbs. constantly
- Ability to read and understand information and direction
- Knowledge of produce operations
- Ability to supervise people including training and development
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job
- Effective communication and guest service skills
- Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time
