Produce Manager

Manage the produce department by promoting customer relations, greeting shoppers, and resolving concerns promptly. Take orders over the phone or in person, determine size and appearance needs, and create finished products in a timely fashion. Supervise all associates, oversee training, delegate assignments, and participate in performance reviews and new hire interviews. Develop localized merchandising plans, set up displays, and monitor competitor activity to drive sales and meet financial objectives. Prepare inventory records, track gross monthly profits, verify deliveries, and control labor costs and shrinkage. Ensure product freshness, rotate stock, price merchandise correctly, and maintain sanitation and OSHA requirements.
