Job Summary
Manage the sales and operations of the Produce Department, overseeing quality control, merchandising, and cleanliness. Handle inventory management and create staffing schedules to ensure maximum productivity. Recruit, hire, and make promotion or transfer decisions with the Store Manager while coaching team members through bi-annual performance reviews. Document corrective actions and address team member concerns independently. Communicate standards, policies, and product knowledge to staff. Serve as a Key Carrier or Manager on Duty as needed. Perform general housekeeping and adhere to safety regulations. Work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. Achieve and maintain a Food Handlers permit.
Required Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- 1-3 years of experience working in a grocery retail setting
- management experience in produce
- A basic knowledge of math

- the ability to walk a total up to 5 miles in an 8 hour shift
