Job Summary
Lead day-to-day operations of the retail department by ordering and maintaining inventory, validating received orders, and managing team staffing for stocking, production, and date-sensitive rotation. Execute weekly Flight Plans, manage scheduling, labor control, and payroll expenses while monitoring department goals and forecasts. Train associates, handle spoiled products per guidelines, and enforce food and safety standards with immediate corrective action. Participate in daily huddles, manager meetings, and district-level sessions to ensure alignment with company expectations and key performance indicators. Maintain a clean, well-stocked environment adhering to Prime Time standards and Our Winning Recipe model.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate (Required) or Equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently
- Ability to work in a typical retail store environment (varied temperatures)
- Ability to be exposed to outside weather conditions
- Ability to tolerate a noise level in the work environment that is usually low to moderate
- Ability to travel (Travel requirements vary by assignment)
Desired Qualifications
- Two years of retail experience preferred
- One-year supervisory experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication, and bookkeeping skills
- Good organization, prioritization, decision-making, problem solving and conflict management skills
- Strong leadership abilities with capability to work in a hands-on environment
- Good strategic planning and business acumen skills
- Good knowledge of retail store operations; knowledge of retail management systems
- Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to communicate in Spanish (highly desirable)
