Job Summary
Direct produce operations by providing expert service to clientele, maintaining department cleanliness, and managing proper signage. Pull and rotate inventory, collaborate with the Pricing Coordinator on integrity, and complete perishable inventories with accurate paperwork. Schedule team members, process orders, monitor sales and labor metrics, and finalize weekly purchase reports. Adhere to safety guidelines, use the markdown program per policy, and complete all required training while staying updated on produce knowledge. Maintain good communication across departments. This role requires lifting 60 lb. boxes and standing for extended periods.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Good, corrected vision
- Good, corrected hearing
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
