Job Summary
Direct the Produce Department by providing exceptional service to clientele while maintaining inventory, cleaning the area, and ensuring proper signage. Rotate produce daily, work with the Pricing Coordinator to ensure pricing integrity, and complete perishable inventories with accurate paperwork. Manage team scheduling, monitor sales and labor, and finalize weekly purchase reports. Adhere to all safety guidelines, company policies, and dress codes while staying current with training and departmental communication. This role involves lifting 60 lb. boxes and handling sharp instruments in a medium-physical environment requiring good vision and hearing.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Good, corrected vision
- Good, corrected hearing
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
