Job Summary
Direct produce operations by maintaining, cleaning, and rotating inventory while ensuring proper signage and pricing integrity. Manage the team by scheduling associates, completing orders, monitoring sales and labor, and finishing weekly purchase reports. Execute daily tasks including pulling produce, managing perishable inventories with required paperwork, and verifying county of origin information. Adhere to safety guidelines, company policies, and dress code while utilizing the markdown program and completing mandatory training. Handle physical demands such as lifting 60 lb. boxes and using sharp instruments in a medium-paced work environment requiring good vision and hearing.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Good, corrected vision
- Good, corrected hearing
- Ability to stoop
- Ability to kneel
- Ability to reach
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
