Job Summary
Direct produce operations by maintaining department cleanliness, rotating inventory, and ensuring proper signage. Provide exceptional customer service while sharing expert knowledge on fresh produce. Collaborate with the Pricing Coordinator to maintain pricing integrity and complete perishable inventories with accurate paperwork. Manage team scheduling, monitor sales and labor, and finalize weekly purchase reports. Adhere to all safety guidelines, company policies, and required training while using the markdown program correctly. This role requires the ability to lift 60 lb. boxes, handle sharp instruments, and work in environments with slippery floors.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments
- Good, corrected vision
- Good, corrected hearing
- Ability to stoop
- Ability to kneel
- Ability to reach
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
