Produce Manager responsible for staffing, hiring, and training all produce department employees; merchandising displays and special buys; ensuring the department meets Safety and Health Code Standards; understanding company financials and the department’s impact; responsible for ordering all products from multiple vendors; communicating via phone, text, and email; maintaining inventory levels with minimal loss; broad knowledge of produce products; handling employee relations with store managers and HR; assisting with company events related to produce; scheduling for the Produce Department; keeping the department clean and up to Berkot standards; in-person work at the New Lenox, IL location.
