Job Summary
Produce Helper provides friendly, customer-first service in the produce department and supports the produce manager with ordering, receiving, and displaying products. Responsibilities include greeting customers, rotating stock to ensure freshness and quality, cleaning the department to company standards, sanitizing the area at least twice daily, unloading trucks, breaking down products, handling core pineapples and green leafy vegetables, and adhering to the Food City food safety program. The role requires on-site work during scheduled shifts and collaboration with teammates to maintain a positive, efficient store environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis
- Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies
