Job Summary
Produce Helper at Food City supports the produce department by delivering friendly, efficient customer service, assisting the produce manager with ordering, receiving, and displaying products, rotating merchandise for freshness, maintaining department cleanliness, following food safety procedures, and supporting on-site operations during scheduled shifts. Key duties include greeting customers, ensuring a positive and safe shopping environment, stocking and rotating produce (greens, pineapples, etc.), unloading trucks, and adhering to time and attendance policies while fostering a teamwork-focused, customer-first atmosphere.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis
- Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies
