Job Summary
Produce Helper assists the produce department manager with ordering, receiving, and displaying products, stocks, rotates merchandise to maintain freshness, and upholds food safety standards. The role involves greeting customers with a positive, friendly, and fun attitude, providing prompt and courteous service, unloading trucks, breaking down product, and maintaining a clean workstation and department. Responsibilities include keeping greens and pineapples productively prepared, sanitizing the department at least twice daily, and adhering to company time and attendance policies. The position emphasizes teamwork, on-site presence, and consistent customer service in a grocery-store environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis
- Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies
