Job Summary
Produce Helper supports the Produce Department at Food City by assisting the produce manager with ordering, receiving, and displaying products; rotates stock to maintain freshness; cleans and sanitizes work areas; handles unloading trucks and processing produce such as core pineapple and prep greens; follows the company food safety program; maintains a neat workstation and adheres to attendance policies; provides friendly customer service and contributes to a positive, team-oriented store environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis
- Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies
