Job Summary
Produce Helper assists the produce manager with ordering, receiving, and displaying all product for processing; greets customers and provides prompt, courteous, and efficient customer service; maintains a positive, friendly, and fun working environment with a customer-first initiative; rotates all merchandise to ensure freshness and quality; cleans department according to company standards; follows the company food safety program; assists in unloading trucks and breaking down product; handles core pineapples and all greens/ vegetables, and keeps workstation tidy; department is sanitized and cleaned at least twice daily; scheduled on-site work to adhere to attendance policies; flexible schedules and opportunities for growth within Food City.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis
- Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies
