Job Summary
Produce Helper at Food City responsible for supporting the produce department and manager with ordering, receiving, and displaying products; rotating merchandise to ensure freshness; maintaining a clean, sanitized work area; assisting with unloading trucks; handling fresh fruits and vegetables (e.g., core pineapples, shock leafy greens); greeting customers, delivering courteous service, and contributing to a positive, teamwork-driven environment. Requires on-site attendance, ability to follow instructions, physical capability to perform tasks, and willingness to work a flexible part-time schedule. Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis
- Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies
