Job Summary
Produce Helper assists the Produce Manager with ordering, receiving, and displaying product, rotates merchandise to maintain freshness and quality, and helps unload trucks. Responsibilities include stocking and rotating department items, keeping the workstation area clean, sanitizing the department at least twice daily, following the company food safety program, and providing courteous customer service to support Food City's mission to Run the Best Store in Town. The role involves teamwork, a positive attitude, and flexible scheduling to maintain a friendly store atmosphere; basic ability to follow verbal/written instructions and meet physical requirements is required. Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis
- Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies
