Job Summary
Assist the produce department by supporting the produce manager with ordering, receiving, and displaying products; greet customers and provide prompt, courteous service to create a positive, friendly shopping environment; rotate merchandise to maintain freshness and quality; unload trucks and break down product; maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the workstation and department per food safety standards; handle tasks related to green leaf vegetables and core pineapples; work on-site during scheduled shifts and adhere to time/attendance policies; contribute to a cooperative, flexible, teamwork-focused environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis
- Ability to attend on-site work during scheduled shifts to adhere to company time and attendance policies
