Job Summary
Manage assigned retail stores to meet sales and profitability targets through merchandising plans covering assortment, pricing, promotion, and shelf placement. Ensure consistent implementation of category business plans and execute operational policies for inventory, asset management, facilities, safety, and security. Monitor store performance against budgeted goals, analyze results to identify improvement opportunities, and develop strategies to exceed objectives. Provide coaching, training, and direction to retail department associates while aligning functions with productivity standards. Collaborate with internal departments to support advertising plans and store promotions. Maintain industry knowledge to recommend process improvements. Travel up to 75% to retail locations for local and overnight assignments.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or other related field
- Three years' experience in merchandising or management in a retail setting
- Ability to travel up to 75% to retail locations to include local and overnight travel
- May be required to lift and/or move 20 pounds
